A grateful heart is an abundant heart.

If there is one thing, I believe in more than anything, that is gratitude. Gratitude is a non-negotiable. Appreciating where you are in life, the good times and the bad, giving thanks for all you've been, all you are and all you will be is crucial for your personal growth.
One who is ungrateful will never appreciate the splendor of his/her life. There will always be something wrong, out of place, disappointing and unsettling.
It is easy to show gratitude for things going well and honestly, it should be just as easy to show gratitude for things not going well. In every aspect of our lives, there is a lesson to learn.
Take a moment and reflect on your life. Examine all that is going on in your world. Ideally, you have some easy things to be grateful for...your family, your friends, your job. This is a great place to start. As we move forward, we are going to look past the surface, but for now, this is where we'll begin.
Week Two/Day One
I am grateful for ______________________________________.
Show gratitude as soon as you wake up, at least five times throughout the day and again before bed. Allow your heart to be filled with gratitude when you close your eyes on today and prepare for tomorrow.
